How it Will Work

Okay...quick and easy. I'll post 3-5 pictures early in the morning (usually...until the jet lag wears off). Leave a comment (or if you must, shoot me an email) with your choice for fave. Comments are necessary if you want to be eligible for the prizes because I have a sneaking suspicion they are about to lock me out of my email account. Go figure. At the start of the next day, I will post 3-5 MORE pictures and I will also note which picture from the day before was the picture of the day. If you leave a comment with your vote, I'll toss you into the daily drawing for a print of the photo of the day. I will try to mail prints weekly, but will update here if I need to just hold on shipping until the end of all time (that would be June). It doesn't matter if you voted for the photo that won, you'll get the one that most folks liked. Please vote for your fave once, but feel free to stack the votes by getting your friends to stop on by and vote for your fave as well. At the end of the month of May, I'll take all the comments left from the whole month and draw one name. That name will get the coffee table picture book I'm making from this trip for my mama. She'll understand. Really. Actually, self-publishing rocks and I do too. So I'll have a copy of the book printed for you. I'm a nobody, but if you must, I'll even have the wonderful photographers autograph it for you. 15 or so winners in all between those that get prints of the day and the lucky one that gets the whole shebang book. The book may be a Christmas gift, but I promise to try my hardest to make it a Christmas in July at least. Ready? Pics are coming...this evening. To be eligible for the print of the day, you have to vote in the 24 hour window that the picture is originally posted. But to keep it fun for all, you can go back after the fact and post on any and all of the pictures (hint, a separate comment for each picture is totally acceptable--and gets you more entries into the overall photo book giveaway). Remember, all comments up through May 31 will be in the drawing for the book. SEA to SFO to Beijing to Lhasa to Kathmandu to Delhi to Newark to Seattle. Around the world in about 15 days (or so). Join me as I relive the ride!
